On July 17, the Police Investigation Agency of Thanh Hoa Province announced that they are currently investigating a case of fraud and abuse of power that occurred in 2024 at Hac Thanh General Hospital (formerly known as Thanh Hoa General Hospital).
The investigation revealed that from 2021 to 2024, Hac Thanh General Hospital fabricated 20 patient medical records across various departments.
To aid the investigation, the authorities have made public the list of these 20 falsified medical records connected to the case. They also requested that life insurance companies review and cross-check the patients listed within this document.
In case there are requests for claim settlements, these companies must send the information and payment requests to the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police at 15A Hac Thanh, Hac Thanh Ward, Thanh Hoa Province.
